Experienced Asbestos Removal Operatives Required in Glasgow
2 x Asbestos Operatives Required.
Due to increased workload we require 2 experienced members of staff, we are looking for experienced Operatives.
Works will be carried out mainly within the central belt of Scotland but at times will be required to work in England to service national clients.
Operatives should be experienced in all aspects of asbestos removal and be trustworthy and conscientious as you will be interacting with the public and other trades, up to date, medical, training and preferably drivers but not essential.
The successful applicants will be employed on a permanent basis as the work is on long term contracts, all additional training will be provided as will a company vehicle, fuel card, uniform, 20 days holidays, statutory 8 days and enrolment onto the pension scheme.
Rates of Pay are Based on a 10 hour shift:
£135 per day (Monday to Friday)
£185 for working away including allowance
£175 per day for working on a Saturday
£200 per day for working on a Sunday
Travel time paid as applicable.

About the Role and Responsibilities:
Carrying out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on various buildings both domestic and commercial.
Undertaking re-inspections and updating the asbestos register and management plans.
Work within company policies and quality systems to ensure achievement and maintenance of UKAS accreditation.
Working across the UK to travel to client sites, as and when required.
Required Qualification, Skills and Knowledge:
BOHS P402 Qualified.
Training and certificates including CSCS, Asbestos Medical Certificate, Face Fit Certificates, and Full Driving Licence.
Comfortable with technology and use of onsite data collection tools, emails and calendar use.
Due to the nature of the work, it will be essential for the person to pass a DBS check.
Meticulous with attention to detail and appreciation of quality work.
Professional manner and strong work ethic.
Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
Experience:
Ability to demonstrate minimum 2 year experience in carrying out asbestos surveys.
Experienced in delivering refurbishment and demolition surveys on major projects within commercial and industrial units.
Salary and Benefits Package:
Salary depending on experience.
Opportunity to earn overtime.
Fully expensed Company Vehicle.

Salary: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
